Getting access to your existing domain name
You will need access to your domain name control panel in order to launch your new website on this domain. If you can't access your domain name account you need to track it down. Here are the steps to take:
- Go to Whois Lookup service and type in your domain. This will tell show you the name of the person to whom your domain is registered and the business that handles the registration.
- Get in touch with this person or the company and ask them for access details or to help you arrange a transfer.
How to launch your website on your custom domain
If you have access to your domain control panel then contact our support team at email@example.com. Tell them that you're ready to launch and give them the custom domain on which you want to launch.
How long will it take to launch?
Our support team will guide you through the launch process. Once the launch process commences it can take up to 24 hours before everyone around the world can see your new website.
Will there be any downtime?
If your new website is replacing an old one then there should be no downtime. While the launch is progressing, visitors to your domain will see either the old or the new website.
