Understand the status of a membership subscription

Every membership subscription has one of the following statuses.

Valid

The subscription is valid until the renewal date with no payments outstanding.

Overdue

An invoice has been issued for the current subscription period, no payment has been received and the amount of time since the date of the invoice is within the grace period.

In this status the member retains access to member-only resources.

Expired

An invoice has been issued for the current subscription period, no payment has been received and the amount of time since the date of the invoice has exceeded the grace period.

Cancelled

An administrator has manually cancelled a subscription.

Pending

A subscription has been created to a membership plan that requires administrator approval and this approval has not yet been granted.

Approved

A subscription that required approval has been manually approved by an Administrator but payment remains outstanding.

Incomplete

The contact started the subscription process but abandoned it before it was completed. You may consider manually following up with the contact to check if they have questions or need assistance.
